What is the difference between a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist or Nutritional Coach? Learn More
cardiovascular / diabetes
People with diabetes have twice the risk for heart disease. By meeting with our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will learn new techniques to prepare meals for better supporting cardiovascular health and regulating blood sugar. Your healthy eating plan will be developed with the consideration of your personal desires, while also managing your body’s needs and metabolic process.
Eating disorders
Registered Dietitians play a major role in providing care as part of a multidisciplinary team. The team at TLW will collaborate with your primary care physician, mental health provider, and psychiatrist to ensure you are receiving the support you need. In using a non-diet philosophy you will gain nutrition education and develop healthy meal planning techniques to promote long-term healing.
weight loss / MANAGEMENT
The benefits of working with a Registered Dietitian (RD) for sustainable weight loss is based on the education and support provided. At TLW you will learn how to balance meals, ensure you meet your nutritional needs, set realistic goals and gain strategies for mindful eating. You will collaborate with our RD in developing goals that are unique and effective for you!
intuitive eating
Intuitive Eating is an evidenced-based, mind-body health approach, weight-neutral model cultivated by removing obstacles to body awareness. Our Registered Dietitian will help you honor your health by listening and responding to the direct messages of the body in order to meet your physical and psychological needs. This holistic approach that integrates concepts of mindful eating; however, primary focuses on the mind and body’s response to hunger and nurturing a body positive image.
